The European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR) was established in 2006 as a non‐profit limited liability company dedicated to the co‐ordination of biomedical imaging research in Europe. EIBIR has its head office in Vienna, at the headquarters of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), which is the main shareholder of EIBIR.
EIBIR currently has over 280 member institutions, two thirds of which are made up by clinical departments and one third by basic science laboratories. The network has the mission to strengthen biomedical imaging research throughout Europe by bringing international research expertise together.EIBIR supports networking activities in biomedical imaging research and is key to spreading good practice, promoting common initiatives and interoperability in the field of biomedical imaging research.
Dr. Pamela Zolda is a senior project manager at EIBIR with over eight years of experience in preparing and managing research and infrastructure projects and dissemination activities. She is Project Manager of the ESFRI Roadmap project Euro-BioImaging (European Research Infrastructure for Imaging Technologies in Biological and Biomedical Imaging); and member of the RAMIRI (Realising and Managing International Research Infrastructures) Network. Pamela Zolda is EIBIR’s senior partner in the LUCA project and leads Work Package 6: Dissemination.
Katharina Krischak is a project manager at EIBIR. She serves as a project manager on the Horizon 2020 projects LUCA and GLINT (GlucoCEST Imaging of Neuoplastic Tumours) and manages their dissemination activities. In LUCA, she supports the project coordinator in the project’s operational procedures and is responsible for project internal communication and the day-to-day management of the project.
